Korea Week in Queensland
As part of Korea Week in Queensland, organised by Study Queensland and Trade and Investment Queensland, several Korean education delegates visited our inner-city Brisbane campus. Delegates included; Professor Hong-Gil Kim (Director, Office of International Affairs, Korea Council for University College Education (KCCE)), Professor Jeong-Keun Ahn (Director/ Professor International Affairs/ Intelligent Robot, Kyungbok University), Ms Seok-Hwa Lee (Manager, Office of International Affairs, Daejeon Health Institute of Technology), Dr Jong-Ho Jeon (Senior Researcher, Korea Research Institute for VET (KRIVET)), Mr Sang-Yeon Jo (Vice-Principal, Ganggyeong Commercial High School), Mr Ho-Seok Lee (Supervisor, Career and Vocational Education Division, Seoul Metropolitan Office of Education), Ms Candice Ungerer (Senior Project Officer, Trade and Investment Queensland) and Ms. Olivia Jeong (Business Development Manager, Trade and Investment Queensland, Korea).
During this visit, delegates toured our campus and facilities before joining JCU Brisbane and SRI executives for a luncheon and information seminar. Information discussed comprised of the highly successful Global Internship Program, student services offered and the directory of our growing relationships. This was then followed by a private tour at some of our internship partner organisations.
SRI RTO Director, Jane Roberts said, “It was a pleasure to present the offerings of the Sarina Russo Education Group to our visiting delegates and repay the hospitality shown to our CEO who visited Korea with TIQ last year. We look forward to continuing our relationship with Korean Education providers”.
