Résumé and Cover Letter Workshop

According to the Undercover Recruiter, 1 in 5 recruiters will make up their mind up on a candidate within 1 minute of reading their résumé and cover letter.

At SRI, we know how vital it is to have a well-written résumé and cover letter and that is why we have implemented free résumé and cover letter workshops that are held by industry professionals.

For this weeks workshop, students were met by Kathleen Newcombe (CEO of the Sarina Russo group), Michaela Rusnac (Career Consultant at Joblinx), Jon Twomey (National Health Division Manager at the Sarina Russo Group) and Rosana Farfaglia (Business Development Leader at the Sarina Russo Group).

Talking points during this workshop included résumé and cover letter tips and tricks, available job searching tools, free job providing services available on campus and upcoming health sector career opportunities.
