Sarina Russo Institute offers multiple traineeship opportunities ranging from Certificate to Diploma level programs. We work with potential Trainees and small or large businesses to help them choose the right training to suit their needs.
Traineeships combine training with working and give you the opportunity to earn income while gaining the necessary skills and qualifications under the guidance of a Supervising Registered Training Organisation (SRTO). A traineeship is typically shorter than an apprenticeship and takes around 1-2 years to complete full-time.
Training can be undertaken full-time, part-time or even while you’re still at school. As long as training is completed on a regular basis, the schedule can be flexible around your work and life responsibilities. Upon completion, trainees will receive a nationally recognised qualification.

Sarina Russo Institute is a Skilled Assure Supplier and offer funded traineeship programs for Queenslanders under The User Choice program. The User Choice program provides public finding contribution towards the cost of training for eligible Queensland apprentices and trainees.
Tuition fees* are payable and invoiced to both the Employer, and Trainee on course enrolment, however the employer can nominate to fund the Trainee contribution fee on their behalf. Trainee fees will vary per course at $1.60 per nominal hour per unit. Nominal hours can be found in individual course flyers.
*Concessional rates and exemptions will apply for eligible trainees. Sarina Russo Institute acknowledges that there may be instances when a student is entitled to a refund of pre-paid fees. The Refund Policy provides clear and transparent guidelines and can be found HERE: SRI Refund Policy
We welcome trainees from all states, if you are outside Queensland, full tuition fees will apply and are shown in the table below.

Step 1
The Trainee commences employment as a Trainee.

The employer and Trainee will sign the training contract paperwork with an Australian Apprenticeship Support Network (ASSN).
Step 3
Employer and Trainee enquire about Traineeship programs and selects Sarina Russo Institute as their nominated Supervising Registered Training Organisation (SRTO).
Step 4
Sarina Russo Institute will meet with the Employer and Trainee and conduct a Traineeship sign-up meeting and the Trainee will commence formal training.

Once you’ve decided what Traineeship you want to do, you will need to find an employer in that industry to employ you as a Trainee.
Step 2
The employer and Trainee will sign the training contract paperwork with an Australian Apprenticeship Support Network (ASSN).
